General Datum is looking for Structural & Thermal Analysis Interns interested in spacecraft and aerospace applications. The internship is suited for candidates with an academic background in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Space Engineering, or related disciplines, with an interest in structural and thermal engineering.
Candidates should have knowledge or exposure to areas such as Strength of Materials, Structural Analysis, Finite Element Analysis, Thermal Analysis, Heat Transfer, Vibrations, Fatigue Analysis, Material Science, and Aerospace Structures. Familiarity with tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, HyperMesh, Nastran, Patran, MATLAB, Python, or relevant CAD software will be beneficial.
Applicants with academic or project experience in FEA, structural analysis, thermal analysis, or related engineering simulations are encouraged to apply. We are looking for candidates with strong analytical interest, a willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for applying engineering analysis to spacecraft and aerospace systems.
