General Datum is looking for Spacecraft ADCS Engineer Interns interested in the development and support of Attitude Determination and Control Systems (ADCS) for spacecraft. The internship is suited for candidates with an academic background in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Space Engineering, or related disciplines, with an interest in spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control.
Candidates should have knowledge or exposure to areas such as Control Systems, Classical and Modern Control Theory, Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC), Attitude Determination, Attitude Control, Orbital Mechanics, Sensor Fusion, Kalman Filtering, and Embedded Systems. Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, Python, C, and C++, along with ADCS components such as Reaction Wheels, Magnetorquers, Star Trackers, Sun Sensors, Gyroscopes, Magnetometers, GPS, and IMUs, will be beneficial.
